Hi! I’m Linda.
I’m just your average American middle-aged, menopausal, sedentary, overweight Type-2 diabetic fighting these problems and more. I battle rosacea, seborrhoeic dermatitis, and other hard-to-spell conditions. Heck, I’m a regular warrior, when you think about all the things I struggle with.
Wait, no. Don’t think about them. I’m no warrior. I can’t even fight off Minecraft creepers without crying.
I’m not here to offer medical advice. My experiences—like yours—are humorous anecdotes at best, ridiculous epic fails at worst.
I’ll post blog entries cataloguing my never-ending but ever-changing journey as a Type-2 diabetic, which started with my unexpected diagnosis in January 2010. With the constant barrage of snowstorms that year, winter was already shaping up to be no fun at all. That call from my doctor’s office with my lab results was just the icing on the cake.
The cake I really shouldn’t be eating anymore.
Join me, will you? And feel free to leave a comment or ask me a question. Just don’t offer me cake.
